STUDENT INFORMATION:
All 10th graders will be taking the Pre-ACT tomorrow. This test will occur in the Math/Science wing of the building. All classes that normally meet on the math/science side will be in a new location for this day. Teachers will provide more information about testing and for students who will be in displaced locations.
Come in the media center and check out a good scary or short story books of haunted places.
Please come out and support Communities in School Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A, tomorrow, October 29th from 5-8 pm.
CIS students remember lunch buddies is Thursday October 31. only students that have signed up and turned in permission forms can attend.
Beta club member who signed up for the lunch buddies program at Gamewell Elementary, our first trip will be this Thursday, October 31.
You need to check your email for the field trip form from Mrs. Hatton. You must turn the form in no later than this Wednesday.
Did you know that about 1 in 5 high school students’ experiences bullying? Change starts with you. Unite with your fellow Warriors on Wednesday October 30 and wear blue and gold. Together we can make a change.
Students, your $10 class dues need to be paid to homeroom teachers by Thursday
SOPHOMORES!!! Guess what! If you are interested in math, science, technology or engineering there is a special camp at NCSTATE May 9 - 13. You get to meet new people, hang out on a college campus, and maybe even discover the best career for you! See you counselor this week for details!
SENIOR INFORMATION:
Financial Aid Night is November 7th at CCC&TI B Building from 6-8 pm. This is a great opportunity for you to start on your FAFSA and RDS forms.
Please see Mrs. Hatton immediately if you would like to participate in the November 9 DramaFest competition for a $1200 scholarship. You will be required to memorize and perform 2 monologues at least 60 seconds each. Please see Mrs. Hatton for details.
SPORTS:
Soccer will play at home against West Iredell this evening. This is senior night so come out and support your Warriors!
Softball will have workouts next week on Monday and Tuesday from 3:15 to 4:45
Men’s basketball tryouts will be this Thursday and Friday at 4:45 until 7. Anyone interested must have a physical and concussion form.
