STUDENT INFORMATION:
Congratulations to our Quiz Bowl team- Captain Christiana Peirce, Isaiah Standridge, Cameron Crump, and Ashley Olivera-Silva for defeating Draughn 90 to 70 at the Catawba Valley Quiz Bowl Competition at Freedom last night.
Would you like to get out of 4th period next Tuesday? For $1, you can attend the 2nd annual Teacher vs Teacher Quiz Whiz competition. Tickets will be on sale during lunch.

Caldwell County Public library is having a letter writing contest called “Dear Martin” (aka Dr. King) based off the book, “Dear Martin” by Nic Stone. Deadline for entries are this Friday, February 21, 2020 at 5:30 pm. If you are interested in this, please see Mrs. Craven in the Media Center or one of the English teachers.
Mu Alpha Theta members interested in attending the NCCTM Math contest at ASU need to pay $10 to Mrs. Kimberlin by this Friday, February 21st.

SPORTS:
Congratulations to Freddie Guardiola for winning the 2a West Regional Wrestling Tournament last weekend in the 145 lb weight class. Freddie will be traveling to Greensboro Thursday to compete in the 2a State Wrestling Tournament. Good luck Freddie. Congratulations to Janiyah Norman on qualifying for 4 events at the State meet this past weekend. She finished 6th in the State in Triple Jump, 8th in the 55 meters and 9th in long jump. Great job Janiyah.
Girls Basketball will play at East Burke in the 1st round of the Conference play-offs. Game begins at 6:00 pm.
Boys Basketball will play at home against Fred T. Foard in the 1st round of the Conference play-offs. Game begins at 6:30 pm. Come out and support your Warriors!!!
