WCHS Media Center Poetry writing contest!
Prizes will be given 1st $30, 2nd $20, and 3rd $10. Please turn in your printed poems and it has to be in your own words!! You can turn in as many as you like! Poems are due TOMORROW- Friday -April 29th.
All AFS students going on Friday or Saturday's field trips need to pay Mr. Smith ASAP. Also, all AFS students need to access the shared spreadsheet and sign up what you/your family are bringing for the Saturday potluck."
Did you know that 1 in 4 Girls are abused, 1 in 6 Boys are abused. You can make a difference by giving to Robin's Nest through Change for Children. Robin's Nest is an advocacy agency that provides free services to children that have been abused. You can give tomorrow during 2nd period or by using the QR Code on one of the posters posted around the school.

Attention Juniors and Seniors! Join us for a Record Night Saturday May 7th at WCHS. Food trucks will be on site with items available to purchase. You may pre-purchase a food truck voucher for $10 during lunch Monday May 2-Friday May 6. You may purchase as many vouchers as you wish. Each voucher guarantees at least one item from a food truck
Students in grades 9-11 with a GPA of 3.5 or higher please check your email for an invitation from Mrs. Hatton to join the Beta club. Beta club is a service organization that stresses academic achievement and leadership. Our first induction ceremony in three years will be held on Wednesday, May 18. If you feel you should have received an invitation but did not, come by to see Mrs Hatton in room 343.
SENIOR INFORMATION:
Seniors, this Friday let the college adviser (Ms. Moskowitz) know what you want to do after graduation and she will give you a donut. Just stop by during your lunch."
Seniors- May 3rd is picture day in your cap/gowns. Several seniors still need to either pick up their paid cap/gown and/or pay for their cap/gown. See Mr. Styron or Mrs. Hayes.
Cap and Gown Pictures are Tuesday, May 3 at 8am. Students will report to their 1st Period Teacher (or check in with the office) and then report to the Gym. The group picture will be taken at 8:15am and then individual pictures to follow. Students should come dressed and ready in their cap and gown, and graduation dress code attire. See Mrs. Miller in Social Studies if you have any questions!
