May is Get Caught Reading Month. Please come by and check out a book. We have so many new books. If you are caught reading, we will take a picture for our board and there will be some prizes given out. So, let’s get caught reading!

This week is prom spirit week!
Tuesday: Soul Animal-Let your inner party spirit animal show!
Wednesday: Decades- Throw it back to your favorite decade!
Thursday: Glitz and Glam- Dress it up like you just went platinum!
Friday: Black and White- Set the vibe for prom night and dress in black and white!
Did you know that Robin's Nest services for abused children make it possible for a child to have to tell their story of abuse just one time? All Robin's Nest services are free to children and their families. That is why they need you to give today!
WCHS has collected $534 so far and our goal is $2,000.If we reach our goal Mr. Styron will spend the day on the Roof.
Ask your friends and neighbors to give too! You can make a difference in a child's life today!
Ways you can get involved:
Enter the Warrior Challenge- The first person in the building, student or staff to raise $100 for Robin's Nest will park in Mr. Styron's Space for the rest of the year. (See Mrs. Gurnsey for details and to submit the $100)
- Give during weekly collection in 2nd period
- Put your Change in the Plunk Machine located in the cafeteria
- Use a QR Code on a poster and give online
- Buy a raffle ticket- coming tomorrow
Attention Juniors and Seniors! Join us for a Record Night Saturday May 7th at WCHS. Food trucks will be on site with items available to purchase. You may pre-purchase a food truck voucher for $10 during lunch Monday May 2-Friday May 6. You may purchase as many vouchers as you wish. Each voucher guarantees at least one item from a food truck.
Prom Promise – We will be asking all students that will attend the prom to make the Prom Promise this week. Stay tuned for more info! #KNOWYOURSELFWORTH
SENIOR INFORMATION:
Cap and Gown Pictures are TOMORROW, May 3 at 8am. Students will report to their 1st Period Teacher (or check in with the office) and then report to the Gym. The group picture will be taken at 8:15am and then individual pictures to follow. Students should come dressed and ready in their cap and gown, and graduation dress code attire. See Mrs. Miller in Social Studies if you have any questions!
SPORTS
Athletic physical day will be next Tuesday, May 10th. If you are planning to participate in athletics next year, this physical will cover you for all of next school year. The cost is only $10! You can begin picking up packets this week from the office!

- Baseball @ Bandys (7:00PM)
- Softball @ East Burke (6:00PM)
- Soccer will be at home against West Lincoln – game starts at 5:00PM.
