STUDENT INFORMATION

  • Thank you to everyone that has generously contributed to Robin’s Nest! This is it, today is the last day to give to Robin’s Nest Change for Children.. We need $700 to get MR. Styron on the roof. He has agreed to get on the roof at $1,500. 
  • You could win a $25 Amazon Gift Card, buy a raffle ticket today before 4th period for a chance to win. See Mrs. Gurnsey or Mrs. Reynolds for tickets.
  • What a deal today only the first person to donate $50 to Robin’s Nest can park in Mr. Styron’s spot for the rest of the year. styron

The Spring Band Concert will be held on Tuesday, May 10th, at 6:00pm in the theater.  Admission is free, donations accepted.

Cheerleading tryouts are May 16th - May 19th. You will need to have a physical on file before the first day of tryouts. If you have not filled out the interest form you should see Ms Proffitt in room 301 ASAP.

SENIORS:

Any senior who plans to attend CCC&TI beginning August of 2022 can apply for this scholarship.  Write a 1 to 2 page essay on "The Importance of Project Graduation".  It is due to Mrs. Wakefield by 8 am on May 26.  (You must be present at Project Graduation to win this scholarship.) Please see Mrs. Wakefield for more information and assistance.  This scholarship is worth $1500.

Any senior who has been accepted and plans to attend ASU in the Fall of 2022 may apply for this scholarship.  Write a 1 page essay on "The Importance of Project Graduation".  It is due to Mrs. Wakefield by 8 am on May 26.   (You must be present at Project Graduation to win this scholarship.)  Please see Mrs. Wakefield for more information and assistance.  This scholarship is worth $12,000.

Attention Seniors: Free Free Free Now is the time to register for Project Graduation. Check your email for the link or go to the Caldwell County Schools website and register right under the flyer.

SPORTS

Any track athlete that did not qualify for regionals needs to turn in their uniform to Coach Ramsey

We will have our annual Sports Physicals on TODAY from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm.

  • Cost will be $10 
  • Blue Physical form filled out beforehand. 
  • We will also be offering a free EKG for any student grades 6th -12th.  Forms must be filled out beforehand.  

We will get all of our current WCHS students completed 4th period before after school activities and buses leave. 

All students must be signed in with Coach Herman in the gym by 4:00 pm, if they are not, we cannot guarantee that they will be able to receive a physical.

The West Caldwell Lady Warrior Volleyball team is set to host a CO-ED volleyball tournament on Friday May 20th, 2022, starting at 3p. We are encouraging West Caldwell to be well represented whether you are a club, team, or group of friends.  If you are interested in participating please see coach Hayes for a registration form, those will need to be returned by May 18th. The Cost will be $30 per team and should be turned in with the form. Each team can create their own appropriate name, and we recommend you have at least 6 members per team, you can have more or less. If you are interested in watching the tournament the admission will be $1. We look forward to having a great end of the year celebration.
