Congratulations to the following track athletes for their performances in the 2A West Regional Track Meet.

Makyis Dula-Regional Champion in the 100 meters

Nehemiah Foxx, NIgel Ransby, Tony Petty and Makyis Dula-2nd Place 4x200 relay

Nigel Ransby-4th place 200 meters

Jayco Castro, Tony Petty, Nigel Ransby and Victor Rosa-7th place 4x400 relay

Ria Wright, Jozlyne Winkler, Madison Eaches and Sarah Swanson-8th

place 4x100 relay

All athletes scored points in the meet.

The following athletes qualified for the State Championships at NC A & T on Friday

Nigel Ransby-200 meters

Jayco Castro and Victor Rosa will be going as alternates on the relay team

STUDENT INFORMATION

Breaking news- No checks will be taken after today for class dues, debts, etc.

 Please remember to turn in overdue books. We have added over 400 new books to our library, so come by and check out some books. Also, we have sent out a couple of newsletters about the new books and will be sending out more newsletters this week.

SENIORS:

Attention Seniors Free Free Free Project Graduation is a celebration for all Caldwell County Seniors to celebrate their graduation. Project Graduation will be at Bo’s in Lenoir Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 8:00 pm - 12:00 am. All Bowling, Laser Tag, and Mini Golf will be free. There will also be food and prizes including scholarships.

Check your email or the Caldwell County Schools home page for registration details, or see Mrs. Gurnsey in room 216. Everyone registering by Tuesday May 17 will be entered into a drawing for $100. Remember that there will also be two scholarships given out for CCC&TI and Appalachian State.

Each senior can bring one guest free of charge to join in the fun. If you are bringing a guest see Mrs. Gurnsey for a registration form.

SPORTS

The West Caldwell Lady Warrior Volleyball team is set to host a CO-ED volleyball tournament on Friday May 20th, 2022, starting at 3p.  If you are interested in participating please see Coach Hayes for a registration form, those will need to be returned by May 18th. The Cost will be $30 per team and should be turned in with the form. Each team can create their own appropriate name, and we recommend you have at least 6 members per team, you can have more or less. Admission will be $1.
