School Safety Protocols and Procedures
Face masks are optional for students and staff in grades K-12. Face coverings on buses and other school transportation are required as this is a federal mandate. Click here for more information on school procedures and protocols.
The Board of Education approved the Face Coverings policy (Policy 4231/5021/7263) on November 8, 2021. The policy defines parameters that determine whether face masks are required or optional. Face masks will be required whenever the COVID positivity rate for students and staff exceeds 0.5 percent within a three-week rolling average. The status of face masks will be announced on Fridays for the following week.
