The Preschool Program on behalf of Caldwell County Schools is pleased to annoucne that we will once again be offering the Jumpstart Aceademy to the residents of Caldwell County. 

This FREE half-day program is thoughtfully designed for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds, with a special emphasis and priority given to our youngest learners, the 3-year-olds. We proudly established the Jumpstart Academy in 2023 with a clear and vital mission: to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that effectively prepares children for the exciting transition to a full day of school.

With the convenience of four class offerings, we've made it simpler than ever to support your child in developing the essential skills and confidence needed for their academic journey. The Jumpstart Academy's classes are conveniently and centrally located at Whitnel Elementary School, situated at 1425 Berkley Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.

Our engaging Jumpstart Academy classes meet two days a week for two hours each day, providing a consistent and beneficial learning routine. To further enrich the experience and foster family engagement, we also offer a special 20-minute class each Friday dedicated to fun family activities.

To print out a paper copy application, refer to the bottom of this webpage. Fill out the application completely. Make sure to write your child's name at the top of each page you are submitting, including the other documents needed, such as the birth certificate and income documentation.
