Caldwell County Schools

Caldwell County Schools’ Preschool Program will announce first-round placements for the 2025-26 year in May. Student applications are still open. There are many options for families. Our elementary schools have NC Pre-Kindergarten and private pay tuition and voucher slots available. NC Pre-Kindergarten is free for qualifying families. A family of four making up to $78,943 is eligible for a funded slot. There are also private childcare NC Pre-K classrooms that offer Wrap Around services. In our high school preschool programs, we accept private pay and subsidy. Pre-K classrooms based in CCS high schools offer an extended school day.
