Mr. Ed Wills | Hibriten High School

The Hibriten Panthers have a new leader: Mr. Ed Wills. Mr. Wills is a dedicated, experienced high school educator, administrator, and coach who will offer Hibriten High kind, passionate, and reliable leadership.
Known for his pragmatic leadership and exceptional ability to build strong, impactful relationships, Mr. Wills has a proven track record. Students describe him as “inspirational,” and his thoughtful and tactful leadership is consistent and dependable. As an experienced coach and steadfast sports fan, Mr. Wills is known for being one of his students’ biggest cheerleaders in all their endeavors. He is eager to cultivate and encourage Panther Pride at Hibriten.
Caldwell County Schools administration and the Caldwell County Board of Education look forward to having Mr. Ed Wills lead Hibriten High School next fall. Caldwell County Board of Education approved Mr. Wills’ appointment as principal of Hibriten High School on Monday, June 9, 2025.
Mr. Justin Hamby will step into the role of Assistant Principal at Hibriten High School and work alongside Mr. Wills. Mr. Hamby shadowed HHS administration and aided with administrative duties last school year. Now, he’s an official member of the administrative team. Caldwell County Schools administration and the Caldwell County Board of Education look forward to having Mr. Justin Hamby on the admin team at Hibriten High School next fall.
