  • Community partners will be hosting an event called The Road to College (El Camino a la Universidad) on October 9 from 10 AM to 1 PM. This event will be held at CVCC in Hickory, NC. There will be presentations both in Spanish and English and assistance with FAFSA and RDS completion.

  • As we start the school year, click here for Back-to-School Information. Face masks are now required for students and staff in grades K-12. Face coverings on buses and other school transportation are also required as this is a federal mandate. We are ready and looking forward to having our students back in school!

    All parents are encouraged to complete the ONLINE Free and Reduced Application. Click here. Meals will be free to all students again this year. However, families may be entitled to benefits offered through other organizations such as the P-EBT. Apply today and don't miss out on any beneficial resources for your children.

    At the Board of Education regular business meeting held this evening, newly appointed board member BJ Fore took the Oath of Office, administered by Dan Kuehnert, Superior Court Judge for the 25th Judicial District of the NC 5th Superior Court Division.

  • Baton Elementary Goes Outdoors!

    Baton Elementary students will go outdoors for completely new learning experiences in trail biking, gardening, and nature studies, enriching opportunities available for students in grades K-5 through grant funding and community support.

  • Code on the Go Bus Brings STEM to Students

    More exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) will be delivered to students on board the Code On the Go bus, an initiative supported by the Coding and Mobile App Development Grant Program that was launched in 2019 with funding from the NC General Assembly. Caldwell County Schools was one of 16 districts across the state to receive the grant.
