  • Pre-K & K - 12 Enrollment for 2024-2025

    Registration is open for all students.
    We welcome all children to register for Grades K-12 here. Once you submit the online enrollment application, the school will reach out to you.

    For new or returning preschool students, click here to register. Students must be at least three years old on or before August 31, 2024. This registers your child with Caldwell County Schools. It does not guarantee enrollment in a preschool classroom.

  • Summer Feeding Sites 2024

    Children ages 0 to 17 are invited to eat free lunch meals at seven different locations this summer in Caldwell County.   

    CCS Child Nutrition Department will serve meals to kids up to age 17 at no cost starting June 3 through August 23.   Sites will be closed from July 1 - 5th in observance of July 4th. There are seven meal sites at the following locations; Sawmills Municipal Park, Redwood Park, Yokefellow, Poplar Street Apartments, Mulberry Recreation Center, Katz Corner Apartments, and Martin Luther King Jr. Center.

  • Project Graduation '24 - Let's Celebrate!

    All seniors and their guests are invited to Project Graduation '24 in celebration of the Class of 2024!

    Enjoy arcade, mini-golf, laser tag, bowling, and games, free from 9 pm to 12 midnight for all 2024 graduates and their guests on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Bo's Entertainment in Lenoir. Nearly $10K in prizes, games, food, etc., and $20K in scholarships.

    For all seniors who register by May 17, 2024, their names will be entered into a drawing for a $100 giveaway at each high school.

  • Parent Surveys: Digital Devices and AI

    Your input is important to us. Please complete two parent surveys that will be available through the end of the school year.

    First, the Digital Device Survey is in the PowerSchool Parent Portal here 

    This survey helps the state and Caldwell County Schools assess student and family needs concerning internet access and devices. If your student was issued a Caldwell County Schools device, you are recommended to use that device to complete the survey.

    Next, complete the Caldwell County Schools Artificial Intelligence (AI) Parent Survey. This survey has only seven questions and will assist the school district in developing policies and procedures addressing the usage and application of Generative AI.

  • Caldwell County Schools Preschool Jump Start Program

    Caldwell County Schools is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 Preschool Jump Start Program, a half-day preschool program for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds, with priority given to 3-year-olds. This program is free to all 3-year-olds. The Jump Start Preschool Academy is located at Whitnel Elementary School. Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-10 am or 11:30 am to 2 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, classes are held from 8-10 am. Breakfast or lunch is included. Space is limited, so please apply soon!

  • Free Summer Meals for Kids 

    Children ages 0 to 17 are invited to eat free lunch meals at seven different locations this summer in Caldwell County.   

    USDA works closely with states to ensure that children who receive free or reduced-price school meals can get the nutrition they need when schools are closed. Through USDA's summer meal programs, CCS Child Nutrition Department will serve meals to kids up to age 18 at no cost starting June 3 through August 23. There are seven meal sites at the following locations; Sawmills Municipal Park, Redwood Park, Yokefellow, Poplar Street Apartments, Mulberry Recreation Center, Katz Corner Apartments,  and Martin Luther King Jr. Center.

    Grades, Test Scores, Attendance and Assignments

    Parent Portal The Parent Portal lets you access your student's attendance, grades, test scores, assignments, and more.

    To view your student's test scores, go to Navigation and select State Test Reports. Your students' test results will be displayed. Please get in touch with your school's Data Manager if you are experiencing problems with your account.

    Free Summer Meals Program for Children and Youth Ages 0 to 17

    Caldwell County Schools will provide free meals for children ages 0 to 17 at seven locations throughout the county from June 3, 2024, through August 23, 2024. While students enjoy their summer break, the school district ensures they receive a healthy, nutritious lunch.

    The school district celebrated the dedication and unwavering commitment of 54 retirees on June 4, 2024, at the annual Caldwell County Schools Retirement Luncheon. This group accumulated 1,352 years of service in public education.

    Class of 2024 Commencement Ceremonies Underway

    The Class of 2024 Commencement Ceremonies are in full swing, celebrating the achievements of 81 students at Caldwell Early College High School and 47 at Caldwell Applied Sciences Academy (CASA). Between the two graduating classes, students completed an impressive 9,247 college credit hours during their high school years, totaling a savings of approximately $702,772 for families. Additionally, as these graduates continue their education journey, they have been awarded scholarships worth $10 million.
