  • South Caldwell High Agronomy Team Wins State and Going to Nationals

    South Caldwell High School Agronomy Team won first place at the North Carolina Future Farmers of America (NCFFA) Agronomy Career Development Event and will represent South Caldwell High School, Caldwell County Schools and the state of North Carolina at the national FFA competition on October 23-27 in Indianapolis.

  • Celebrating 10 Years with Carolina Advising Corps

    Two recent UNC-Chapel Hill graduates put the finishing touches on an upcoming financial aid night for juniors and seniors in the Caldwell County Schools, an event that is part of their assignment to help students recognize the possibilities and take the necessary steps to attend college.

  • State Releases Performance Grades for Schools

    In the fifth year of the state’s A-F grading system, approximately 81 percent of schools received an A, B or C letter grade in the Caldwell County Schools, exceeding the state rate as recently reported by the NC Department of Public Instruction.

  • More SROs on School Campuses

    Schools opened this week with a record-number of law enforcement officers on campuses, as Chiefs of Police, the Sheriff and on-duty officers patrolled campuses alongside the 19 full-time School Resource Officers (SROs) that are now a permanent measure of safety and protection.
