    Collettsville Elementary volunteer Denny Key was presented the 2017 Caldwell County Schools Volunteer of the Year Award at the 22nd annual Volunteer of the Year luncheon sponsored by Blue Ridge Energy, as top volunteers from each school were recognized for outstanding volunteer contributions.

  • 2017 Governor's School Students Announced

    Three students from Caldwell County have been selected for this prestigious honor. Laurel Crisp, daughter of Amanda Crisp and Larry Crisp; Fiona Docherty, daughter of William and Jill Docherty; and Benjamin Masters, son of David and Tricia Masters will represent the Caldwell County School District. All are students attend South Caldwell High School.

    South Caldwell robotics team advances to the world FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology) competition in Houston, Texas, after engineering a robot and winning in North Carolina.
