  • Monday, January 22, 2018 is a make-up day for school closures this week caused by wintry weather conditions. All students, faculty and staff will be back in school on Monday. High school students will be completing their first semester exams on Monday and Tuesday and will be notified directly by their respective high school administration with more details.

    Monday, January 22, 2018 is one of the make-up days for school closures experienced this week due to severe, wintry weather conditions. All students, faculty and staff will be back in school on Monday, January 22, 2018, a day originally slated as a planning day for teachers.

    Due to frigid temperatures caused by a major winter storm that hit the eastern states, the school system operated on a modified schedule this week. The bite of winter weather lingers in the area and snow and ice may cause more delays or cancellations in the following weeks.

    Just as students receive report cards to inform parents of their academic performance, the Caldwell County School System receives a report from the Department of Public Instruction with detailed and comparative data on each public school in Caldwell County.
